Am I your favorite bird?

Wading in waters along a river's shoreline,

The many species of ibis are all doing fine.
Their long beaks probe down into a river's mud,
Plucking out grub from the yearly spring flood.
They eat diseased snails from the river,
Saving people from becoming sick in the liver.

You’re  lucky if you live near a river with ibises.

They’llprotect you from getting some deadly viruses.
