If you picked termite you’re right. Termites live in groups and some chew tunnels into the wood between walls of homes. The Queen’s job is to eat wood and lay eggs. Sometimes termite colonies are as large as 10,000. Wow that’s a great many wood chewers!
It’s a wonder how chewed up wood,
Can turn a queen termite into motherhood.
Who’s a natural recycler?
It’s a queen who’s not a biker.
She eats wood and pushes out eggs,
Like all insects she has 6 legs.
