Zebra sharks spend their life in warm waters close to a coral reef.
They live for up to thirty years and grow almost to nine feet.
While named after a zebra, they don't have stripes, but dots.
Dots blend them with the ocean's floor, and make them hard to spot!
It’s hard to think of a fish with zebra in its name,
As having anything scary as their claim to fame.
I think that this shark will be looked at as nothing less,
Than a big, goofy fish in a fancy evening dress.
