inspire: to encourage a strong feeling in others.

example:  The teacher inspired the class to write exciting stories about their summer vacation.





shirk: avoid, get out of doing something.

​example: Sammy's job was to clean the blackboard, but he shirked his responsibility and left before doing the task.






ideals: beliefs that some things can be perfect or the standard for excellence.

example: The coach's ideals for his players were that they should be excellent students, fit athletes, and model citizens.
