Oops, I'd Better Not Say That!
When is it a good idea to be quiet?
By that I don’t mean just being still.
But before blurting out what you think
Consider if it could cause ill will.
It's a good thing to speak your mind.
It’s not healthy to hold feelings in.
But when excited, angry, or mad,
You might say words that make others sad.
So be prudent or careful about what you say.
Tomorrow, you might welcome what you don’t say today.
Be reticent don't always share what’s on your mind.
It’s important always to be considerate and kind.
